Mr. Larry D. "Peanut" Russell, Sr., age 68, a resident of Horatio, Arkansas, died Friday, December 27, 2019, at his home.

He was born to J. D. and Maxine Dobbs Russell in De Queen, Arkansas, on September 14, 1951.  He was a 1969 graduated of Horatio High School and was retired owner of Lazy R Trucking Company.  He loved his Lord and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Horatio.  He enjoyed horses, rodeos, and watching bull riding.  Most of all, he cherished the time spent with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves to cherish his memory, two sons and a daughter-in-law, David Russell of Horatio, Arkansas, and Jason and Kayla Russell of De Queen, five grandchildren, Kylie Tadlock of Wickes, Jackson Russell, Bonner Russell, Bolton Russell, and Levi Russell all of De Queen; two sisters, Leslie Seigler of Wake Village, Texas, and Joan Storey of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, and a number of nieces and nephews as well as other family members and a host of friends.

Memorial Services for Mr. Larry Russell will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 18, 2020 in the Horatio First Baptist Church.  Cremation is under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen.   You may send an online sympathy message at www.chandlerfuneral.com.
