Mr. Kim Klitz, age 55, took his last horse ride in this life on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at his home in Winthrop, Arkansas.
He was born to Edward Lowell Klitz, Sr. and Artie Margaret Klitz in De Queen, Arkansas on January 10, 1962. He was a Christian and his passion was horses. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all, he enjoyed time spent with his family, most especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father; two brothers, Ed Klitz, Jr. and Denis Klitz; his maternal grandparents, Bob and Susie Cobb Rich and Vertie Rich, as well as, his paternal grandparents, Edna Jacobs and Martin Klitz.
He is survived by his mother, Margaret Klitz of Winthrop; his wife of over 36 years, Dala Gwen Oglesby Klitz of Winthrop; one son and daughter-in-law, Clayton and April Klitz of Winthrop; one daughter and son-in-law, Monica and R.J. Forrest of Winthrop; five grandchildren, Caleb Klitz, Kylie Forrest, Cason Klitz, Addison Klitz, and Aiden Forrest, all of Winthrop; a special set of in-laws, Edith and Brian Knighten of Winthrop. Kim is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other family members, as well as, a host of friends.
Memorial Services for Mr. Kim Klitz will be held, Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the Oak Grove Church of Christ Pavilion, Winthrop with Bill "Three Feathers" Bunting officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen, Arkansas.
