Mrs. Kathy Jean Morris Sappington, age 62, a resident of Grannis, Arkansas, died Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at her home. She was born to Windle Herbert and Doris Mae Miller Morris in Tulare, California on April 29, 1955. She had worked for the Salvation Army in De Queen, as well as a homemaker. She was a Baptist and enjoyed fishing, barbequing, and her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Freddy Sappington, Sr., and her siblings, Don Morris, Debbie Keoppe, and Linda Hahns. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Freddy and Margaret Sappington of Grannis, a daughter, Kimberly Chandler of Gillham, seven grandchildren, Tristan Sappington, Summer Sappington, Autumn Sappington, Lindsey Suggs, Shawn Suggs, John Bata and Joey Bata, a sister, Joyce Delorme of Tulare, California, a brother of Steve Morris of South Carolina, and a number of nieces and nephews.
