Obituary

Mr. Johnny Woodrow Spears, age 54, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, died at his home on December 2, 2025.

He was born to Audrey Maxine Jackson and Paul Wilson Spears at Ashdown, Arkansas on December 7, 1970.  He was a 1989 graduate of De Queen High School and served his country with the U. S. Navy.  He was partners with his sister at Tom's Store in Tom, Oklahoma.  He attended Tom Baptist Church, and enjoyed playing games and spending time with his nephews.  The sun rose and set in his nephews.

Johnny was preceded in death by his mother, Audrey Jackson, and his father, Paul Spears.

He leaves to cherish his memory, a sister and brother-in-law, Stacy and Mark Heath of Foreman; his beloved nephews Brent Heath (Christian Pettijohn) of Tom, Oklahoma, and Blake Heath of Foreman; his great-nephew, Dean Buddy Heath; his aunt, Floetta Ledbetter of Idabel, Oklahoma; and a number of cousins, other family members and a host of friends.

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Johnny Spears will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 5, 2025, in the Tom Cemetery in Tom, Oklahoma, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home in De Queen, Arkansas.
