Mr. Johnny Eugene Andrews, age 77, a resident of Mena, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Mena Regional Medical Center in Mena.

Johnny was born on May 12, 1947, in Tulare, California, to the late John Sherman and Katie Ella Kelly Andrews.  Johnny loved cars all his life and spent the first years of his adult life working in the automobile trades in De Queen, Arkansas.  Then in 1969 started what would become a work that consumed the rest of his working life, trucks, he spent the next 40 years driving, owning, and working with trucks.  Upon starting his retirement years, he went back to working with building cars, antique cars, street rods, and muscle cars.

He is survived by his wife, Marsha Allison Andrews, and one sister, Ella Marie Keaster.

According to Johnny's wishes, there will be no services, cremation will be under the care of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen, Arkansas, and his remains will be buried beside his grandfather in the Amerson Cemetery in Pencil Bluff, Arkansas.
