Mr. John E. Haury, age 51, a resident of De Queen, died Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at his home.

He was born to Tennyson Andrew and Frances Louise Madewell Haury in Watonga, Oklahoma on August 27, 1966.  He was an employee of Pilgrim Processing Plant in De Queen, and was a Christian.  He enjoyed facebook, cooking, and cherished the time spent with family and friends.

John was a man with a very big soft heart.  He loved life, loved his family and friends.  He fought a long hard battle and finally won.  He will be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his father, a sister, Leta Smith, and a special aunt, Margie Payne.

He is survived by his mother, Frances Willis of De Queen, his loving companion, Pedro Robles of De Queen, four brothers and a sister-in-law, Donald Loneman of El Reno, Oklahoma, Christopher, Cecil Haury, and James and Christy Haury all of De Queen, Arkansas, four sisters and a brother-in-law, Reta Mata of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Sara Loneman of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Donna Loneman of De Queen, Arkansas, and Evelyn and Jaime Espindola of Haworth, Oklahoma, and a number of nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Jennifer Haury, and special nephew, Braden Haury,  who had a special place in his heart.

Funeral Services for Mr. John Haury will be held at 10:00 A.M., on Saturday, January 20, 2018 in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bobby Tatum officiating.  Burial will follow in Redmen Cemetery, De Queen.  Visitation will be held Friday, January 19 ^th from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., at the funeral home.  You may send an online sympathy message at www.chandlerfuneral.com .
