Mr. Jimmy Samuels, Sr.
Mr. Jimmy Wayne Samuels, Sr., age 67, resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed from this life on Sunday, December 20, 2020, at his residence.

He was born to James Edward and Selma Deaton Samuels on August 7, 1953 in Newport, Arkansas. Jimmy married the love of his life, Rebecca Lynn Goodwin, on May 20, 1980 in Texarkana. Jimmy worked 20 years for the Sevier County Farmer's Co-op and most recently in maintenance for the De Queen School District. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening, but most of all, he cherished the time spent with Rebecca, their children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant grandson, Kyler Samuels; and two brothers, Charles Samuels and Kenneth Samuels.

Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of over 40 years, Rebecca Samuels of De Queen; three sons, Jimmy Samuels, Jr. of De Queen, Arkansas, Billy Samuels and wife Sarah of Cabot, Arkansas, and Joseph Samuels and wife Stacie of Hot Springs, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, Brayden, Annalise, Tanner, Bella, Isaiah, Piper, Charlie, Roman, and Willow; one brother, Benny Samuels of De Queen, Arkansas; one sister, Marie Whitley and husband Bob of Texarkana; as well as, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
