Mr. Jesus Bahena Trujillo, age 63, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed from this life surrounded by his family, Thursday, August 14, 2025, at UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Jesus was born to Silbano and Bertina Bahena Trujillo in Filo De Heuycali, Guerrero, Mexico, on December 25, 1961. He married Paulina Bahena, on February 19, 1982, in Mexico. He is a member of the Iglesia Fuente De Agua Viva Church. He worked for TNM Lumber Works. He enjoyed swimming at the river, playing pool, grilling, spending time with his wife, telling jokes, and most especially reading the Bible and sharing the Gospel with those he met.
He was preceded in death by his father; a daughter, Fany Bahena; a sister, Angelica Enciso; a grand-baby, Baby Willis; three brothers-in-law, Bernardo Bahena, Vicencio Ramirez, and Alejandro Bahena.
Jesus leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 43 years, Paula Bahena; one son and daughter-in-law, Jesus Omar and Dayan Romero Bahena of Mexico; three daughters and a son-in-law; Tania and Dr. Kerry Mackey of North Carolina; Abi Bahena and Joselyn Bahena of De Queen; his mother; Bertina Trujillo of Mexico; and his grand-children, Jannis Yanez, Jesus Caleb Bahena, Paulina Isabella Bahena, Omar Emiliano Bahena, Khalil Mackey, and KJ Mackey. His siblings; Cleto Bahena, Rogelio Enciso, Norma Enciso, Ernestina Enciso, Catalina Enciso, Jose Manuel Enciso, Maria De La Luz Enciso; sisters-in-law, Rosa Bahena and Maria Ramirez; brother-in-law, Poli Bahena; special nieces and nephews, Elvira Bahena, Lencho Bahena, Gus Bahena, Mike Ramirez, and Lupita Bahena; and a number of nieces and nephews, as well as many friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Jesus Bahena Trujillo, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, August 18, 2025, in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Alfonso Lopez officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home in De Queen. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M., Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Iglesia Fuente De Agua Viva Church, and from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel.
