Mr. Jesse Chandler
Mr. Jesse Wayne Chandler, age 79, resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022, in De Queen.

Jesse was born the fifth of eight children to the union of Marion Jesse and Lois Agnes Pool Chandler on September 26, 1942, in Umpire, Arkansas. He married the love of his life, Linda Ruth Stone, on August 13, 1966, in Rockford, Illinois, and to this union, two sons were born. He faithfully served with the United States Army, receiving an honorable discharge. Jesse worked as a Supervisor for Georgia Pacific, retiring after many years of service. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on computers, and was an avid Arkansas Razorback fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Margaret Irene Brophy, Betty Wittenmeyer, Barbara Bowling, and Jean Jennings; and two brothers, John David Chandler, and Bob Chandler.

Jesse is survived by his loving wife of over 55 years, Linda Stone Chandler of De Queen; two sons, Brian Chandler and wife Beth of Chesapeake, Virginia, and Mark Chandler of De Queen; one brother, Carl Chandler and wife Jan of De Queen; four grandchildren, Heather King of Richmond, Virginia, Stephen Chandler of Chesapeake, Virginia, Dalton Chandler of De Queen, and Annabelle Chandler of Hooks, Texas; two great-grandchildren, Blayden Chandler of Mena, and Phoebe Chandler of De Queen; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

Funeral Services for Mr. Jesse Chandler will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 9, 2022, in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Doug Akin officiating. Interment, with Military Honors, will follow at Belleville Cemetery, Lockesburg, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home of De Queen.
