Mr. Jerry Shaw
Mr. Jerry Glen Shaw, age 75, of Ashdown, Arkansas, passed from this life on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at the Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana.

Jerry was born the youngest of five children to the union of A. Willie and Della Eunice Turner Shaw on January 12, 1947, in Norman, Arkansas. He was a 1965 graduate of Kirby High School, and in the following July, married the love of his life, Janice Ann Manasco. Jerry worked in different capacities over the years including parts and auto sales. He retired after many years of service as a truck driver for Red River Lumber Company in Wilton. He was a member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed working, camping, wheeling and dealing, and trading cars. More than anything, he loved the time spent with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Joel Shaw and Elton "Bud" Shaw; and one sister, Mary Lou Yeargan.

Jerry leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of over 56 years, Janice Shaw of Ashdown; two daughters and sons-in-law, Denean and Rodney McWhorter of Lockesburg, and Deann and Michael Alexander of Lockesburg; four grandchildren, Erin McWhorter and wife Brittney of Lockesburg, Morgan McWhorter and fiancé Jayla Jacques of Nashville, Brooke Alexander of Lockesburg, and Skylar Alexander of Lockesburg; one great-grandchild, Zoey McWhorter of Lockesburg; one brother and two sisters-in-law, Charles and Sherry Shaw of New Hope, and Patsy Shaw of New Hope; a very dear friend, Donald Joe Chandler of Dierks; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

Graveside Services for Mr. Jerry Shaw will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, April 3, 2022, at Fellowship Cemetery in Dierks with Chaplain Rufus Robinson and Bro. Drew Adams officiating.
