Mrs. Janet Walker
Mrs. Janet Gwen Lyle Walker, age 66, of Grannis, Arkansas, passed from this life on Thursday, September 9, 2021, in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Janet was born one of five daughters to the union of Jimmie Joe and Joyce Omega Mayo Lyle on August 8, 1955, in De Queen. She was a 1973 graduate of Gillham High School. Janet married the love of her life, James Terry Walker, on November 18, 1986, in Wickes, Arkansas. She worked with Tyson in Grannis, retiring in May 2021 with 50 years of service. She was a member of the Wickes Pentecostal Church, United Daughters of the Confederacy, honorary member of the Sons of the Confederate Veterans, and the Southwest Arkansas Historic Society. She enjoyed scrapbooking and spending time with her many friends. Most of all, Janet cherished the time spent with her loving children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmie and Joyce Lyle; her loving husband of over 21 years, James Walker; and two sisters, Judy Martin and Dena Rodriguez.

Janet leaves to cherish her loving memory, one son and daughter-in-law, Manuel and Rawla Walker of Lincoln, Nebraska; daughter, Apryl Stinebaugh of Harleton, Texas; five grandchildren, Danielle Donham and husband Will of East End, Arkansas, Coen Walker of Kearney, Nebraska, Kyndall Walker of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Colton and Remington Stinebaugh, both of Harleton, Texas; two sisters and their spouses, Rhonda and Terry Holman of Wickes, and Bonita and Jr. Flint, also of Wickes; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Janet Walker will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 18, 2021, at the Wickes Pentecostal Church with Bro. Chris Burke officiating. Burial will follow at Baker Cemetery, Wickes. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday, September 17th, at the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel.
