Mr. James Cory Wildbur, age 35, passed away from this life on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.  Cory was born in Texarkana, Texas, on April 7, 1988. Cory graduated from De Queen High School in 2006, where he enjoyed playing sports.  He was a diesel mechanic for Pilgrim's and attended First Baptist Church of De Queen.  Cory enjoyed fishing and car shows, but most of all, traveling with his daughters.

Cory was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Jackee Andres; and his maternal grandfather, Phillip Piearcy.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters,  Shaylyn Wildbur of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Jayme Wildbur, Natalee Wildbur, and Saddie Wildbur all of De Queen, his mother, Patti Driver of De Queen; his father, Teddy Brock Bates of De Queen; his sister, Courtland Smith of De Queen; his brother Cameron Bates of De Queen; his paternal grandparents, Sheila and Al Lawrence of De Queen; his maternal grandmother, Beth Piearcy of Mena, Arkansas;  nephew, Braden Valdez, a niece, Jaden Valdez; a very special friend, Courtesy Watson of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; and the lady who he claimed as another grandmother, Sandra Sloan of De Queen;  as well as other family members and a host of friends.

Memorial Services for Mr. Cory Wildbur will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024, at 2:00 P.M.,in the First Baptist Church with Pastor Josh Herwick officiating, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home of De Queen.   You may leave condolences online at www.chandlerfuneral.com.
