Mr. James Pond

Mr. James D. Pond, age 41, resident of Horatio, passed from this life on Sunday, January 26, 2020 in Horatio.

He was born to Earl Leroy and Patsy Ann Martin Pond on August 28, 1978 in Murfreesboro, Arkansas. He was a Shade-tree Mechanic and enjoyed building small toys, spending time outdoors and leaving his mark wherever he could, but most of all, he cherished the time spent with his daughters and family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Pond; one brother, Jason Pond; maternal grandparents, Virgil and Marie Martin; and his paternal grandparents, James Walter and Laverne Pond.

He is survived by three daughters, Summer Pond, Winter Pond and Autumn Fullerton, all of Horatio, and their mother, Chavon Pond, also of Horatio; his mother, Patsy Cockrum of Horatio; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Cynthia Gregory and Melissa and Jake Atwood, all of Horatio; as well as, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Graveside services for Mr. James Pond will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, January 31, 2020 at the Harmony Cemetery, New Hope, Arkansas, with Bro. Travis Young officiating.
