Mrs. Jackie Chandler

Mrs. Jacqueline Lanell Killion Chandler, age 82, resident of the Central Community of Sevier County, passed from this life on Thursday, February 20, 2020, at her home surrounded by family.

She was born to Robert D. and Minnie Mae Notgrass Killion on January 30, 1938 in Kermit, Texas. She married Arlice Odean Chandler in August of 1967 and was a member of New Life De Queen Church. She enjoyed spending time in her garden, flowers, crocheting and arts and crafts, but most of all, she cherished the time shared with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Beverly Chandler Ruzin; two siblings, Gayle Henry and Michael Killion.

She is survived by her loving husband of over 52 years, Arlice Chandler of Central Community; one daughter, Barbara Chandler Kurachi and husband George of Austin, Texas; seven grandchildren, Chris Ruzin of Austin, Texas, Kara Kurachi Deese and husband Bennett of High Point, North Carolina, Melissa Ruzin of Lockesburg, Keisha Kurachi Tillman and husband Michael of Leander, Texas, Stephanie Ruzin Purcell of Lockesburg, Kimberly Kurachi and Kelli Kurachi, both of Austin, Texas; seven great-granchildren; a great-niece, Kandice Killion; one brother, Bob Killion of Grandbury, Texas; a son-in-law, Tom Ruzin of Lockesburg, Arkansasas well as, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Jackie Chandler will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, February 24, 2020 in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Old Center Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home.
