De Queen
Mr. Jackie Boyles
Mr. Jackie Boyles, age 81, resident of De Queen, Arkansas, peacefully passed from this life on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at his home.
Jackie was born one of seven children born to the union of John Fredrick and Beatrice Ceaser Boyles on January 4, 1941, in De Queen, Arkansas. He was a 1960 graduate of the Sevier County High School in Lockesburg. Jackie married the love of his life, Willie Jewel Nelson, on January 23, 1961, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and to this union, six children were born. In his early years, he drove a truck for the county and later for Foreman Cement. Jackie retired in 2012, after more than thirty years of service to Foreman Cement. He and Willie are members of New Zion Baptist Church in De Queen where he served as a Deacon. He enjoyed perfecting his yard, listening to Sam Cooke, and going to rodeos and the fair. More than anything, Jackie cherished the time spent with Willie, their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two children, Scotty Boyles, and Loretta Jean Hill; four brothers, John "Bo" Boyles, Leonard Boyles, Robert Boyles, and Larry Boyles; and one sister, Patricia Powell.
Jackie leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 61 years, Willie Boyles of De Queen; four sons, Trey Boyles and wife Barbara of De Queen, David Boyles of De Queen, Timmy Boyles and wife Shelly of De Queen, and Kelly Boyles and wife Dixie of De Queen; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Linda Boyles of De Queen; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
