Mrs. Ivanell Wilson
Mrs. Ivanell Walker Wilson, age 84, resident of Idabel, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022, in Redland, Oklahoma.

Ivanell was born the second of four daughters to the union of Jesse James and Nellie Monroe Walker on February 8, 1937, in King, Arkansas. She was a 1953 graduate of Horatio High School. Following graduation, she worked as a telephone operator in De Queen. While she and her family were in Oregon, Ivanell worked as a grader in a cherry factory, later relocating to McCurtain County, Oklahoma. Beginning in 1970, she worked at the Kellwood garment factory in Idabel, retiring in 1987. After retirement, she enjoyed her time spent in her garden, working in and mowing the yard, quilting, canning, flowers, and being outdoors. Some of her most cherished time was spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she dearly loved. When she was able, Ivanell attended Bypass Church of Christ in Idabel, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Floyd Wilson; granddaughter, Kayla Wilson; and two sisters, Betty Frady and Mary Jo Dillard.

Ivanell leaves to cherish her loving memory, one daughter and son-in-law, Jamie and Mark McDaniel of Diana, Texas; one son and daughter-in-law, Kelly and Robbie Wilson of Redland, Oklahoma; her life companion, Jimmy Chandler of Idabel; four grandchildren, Ryan Gilley and his wife Lisa, Ginny Snider and her husband Brad, Kristie Johnson and her husband Toby, and Brittany Wilson; great-grandchildren, Gavin, Casen, Browning, Brinlee, Abby, Allie, Alex, Nate, Kurt, Zack, Nora, Mack, and Vanya; one sister, Judy LaJuan Chandler of Nashville; as well as other relatives, and a host of friends.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Ivanell Wilson will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, February 7, 2022, at the Old Center Cemetery Pavilion. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M., until service time, Monday, at the cemetery. Family and friends are welcome to the funeral home from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M., Sunday, for viewing.
