Mr. George Ray Tucker, age 79, a resident of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, died Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at his home.

He was born to George Lee and Rebecca Frances Hornbeck Tucker in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, on January 18, 1937. He was retired from Cossatot Community College University of Arkansas, where he supervised maintenance. He enjoyed working on automobiles, and yard work.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Steven Joseph Tucker.

He is survived by a special friend, Marjorie "Margie" Kerst of De Queen, a son, George R. Tucker, Jr. of San Diego, California, a daughter, Elizabeth R. Tucker of La Mesa, California, and a sister, Barbara Ann Miller, and eight grandchildren.
