Obituary

Mr. George Reed Frady, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, died Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at his home.

He was born to George Vernon and Eula Mae Wheeler Frady on March 26, 1945.  He worked in the timber industry as a saw mill worker.  He was a member of the First Assembly of God at De Queen.  He also enjoyed fishing and dancing.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Wilma Jean Brandon Frady; two daughters, Renea Dodson and Sandra Frady; and a sister, Vickie Lynn Johnson.

He is survived by one daughter, Elisha Jean Frady of Austin, Texas; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild; one half-brother, Terry Wheeler of Idabel, Oklahoma; three sisters, Patty Hanson of Cove, Arkansas, Sharon Kay Frady and Shirley Ann McKinley both of Broken Bow, Oklahoma.  He was also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other family members, and a host of friends.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home of De Queen.
