Mr. Gary Milligan
Mr. Gary Dale Milligan, age 73, resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed peacefully from this life on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, in Mena, Arkansas.

Gary was born to the union of Kenneth Deverl and Naomi Ruth Keele Milligan on September 25, 1948, in California. He married the love of his life, Ruth Vernice Fair, on December 18, 1964, in Missouri, and to this union, three daughters were born. Gary was an accomplished Carpenter, working many years with Kenneth Milligan Builders. He attended the De Queen First Pentecostal Church of God and enjoyed playing the guitar, singing in the church choir, working with wood, and watching westerns. More than anything, Gary cherished the time spent with his loving family, especially his grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of over 50 years, Ruth Milligan; and two brothers, Gordon White, and Kenneth Milligan.

Gary leaves to cherish his memory, three daughters and sons-in-law, Maria and Don Miller of Fort Smith, Tamara and Thomas Stark of De Queen, and Julie Kay Owen of Charleston; twelve grandchildren, John Emerson, Ryan Emerson, Rhyon Miller, Kaelyn Sollar, Megan Naomi Stark, Matthew Chandler, Luke Greenwood, Adam Owen, Sarah Owen, Isaac Owen, Kimberly Owen, and Micah Owen; ten great-grandchildren, Londyn, Karlei, Dalton, Chloe, Tristin, Austin, Hunter, Henry, Evelynn, and Ryleigh; two brothers, Timothy White of De Queen, and Harlo White of Chicago; one sister, Brenda Starr of De Queen; one sister-in-law, Lorene Presley of De Queen; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

Funeral Services for Mr. Gary Milligan will be held at 12:00 P.M., Friday, February 18, 2022, in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chris Burke officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Cove. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M., until service time, Friday, at the funeral home.
