Obituary

Mrs. Evelyn Espindola
Mrs. Evelyn Glanna Haury Espindola, age 51, resident of Haworth, Oklahoma, passed peacefully from this life on Thursday, August 13, 2020 in Plano, Texas, with family by her side.

Evelyn was born to Tennyson Andrew and Frances Louise Madewell Haury on December 20, 1968 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She loved children and the elderly, working many years as a CNA. She took her profession very serious. Her motto was "The children of today are the elderly of tomorrow." When working in nursing homes, she would always make her patients her first priority. At a young age, her brother, John, told her that she had a way with the elderly. She always believed this was a reason she made her career in eldercare. Evelyn was very unique in her own way. Either you liked her, or you did not, she did not really care. She was a lovable person, but if you gave her a reason not to like you, she did not forget it. She made many friends in her years as a CNA, but you cannot be friends with everyone. She always stood her ground and could not be intimidated. She was a very loving person. Evelyn would say, "I've got enough Indian blood in me to make me a warrior, but have my mother's heart that makes me very loving." Evelyn attended church at Victory Life Church in Broken Bow and enjoyed crocheting, scrapbooking, listening to music and was a Chicago Bulls fan, more than anything, she cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Leta Smith; and two brothers, John Haury and Donald Loneman.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Jaime Espindola of Haworth; two sons, Derrick Haury and wife Jessica of Haworth, and Coco Felipe and wife Ashlee of Texarkana; four daughters, Cassandra Cox and husband Mark of Shawnee, Maria Clark and husband Cameron of Haworth, Sasha Lamphier and husband Daniel of Eagletown, and Ashley Wilson of Broken Bow; her pride and joy, thirteen grandchildren, Chloe, Kaden, Preston, Aden, Addie, Parker, Bransen, Raiden, Patience Glanna, Landon, Brooklyn, Adrian and Wade; brothers, Cecil Haury, Chris Haury and James Haury and wife Christy; sister-in-law, Gloria Espindola; sisters, Sara Loneman, Donna K. Loneman, and Reta Loneman; special friends, David Boyd, Chris Saling, Kristen Clouse and Rachel Harcrow; as well as, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
