Mrs. Ethel Noey Norman Shuffield, age 88, a resident if Mesquite, Texas, and former resident of Ben Lomond, Arkansas, died Friday, December 30, 2016 in Mesquite, Texas. She was born to Chess Murphy and Minera Fadelia Noe Noey on June 30, 1928. She was a member of the Ben Lomond Baptist Church and enjoyed deer hunting, cooking, and cherished the time spent with family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Earnest Noey, Sr., Freeman Noey, Harold Noey, Morris Noey, Lewis Noey, Charlie Noey, Clovis Noey, and her twin Nellie Martin, and in 2015, her husband, Henry Clinton Shuffield. She is survived by two sons, Jimmy and Maggie Norman of Lockesburg, and Danny Norman, Nine grandchildren, Chris Norman, Chad Davis, Tommy Davis, Jeremy Roten, Dewayne Roten, Jenna Fowler, Brenna Castro, Hannah Norman, Kara Norman, sixteen great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mrs. Ethel Shuffield will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 3, 2017 in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Wofford's Chapel Cemetery.
