Mr. Ernest Leonard Staggs, age 80, a resident of De Queen, died Friday, January 12, 2018, in Bear Creek Nursing & Rehab, De Queen.

He was born to George William and Mamie Chandler Staggs in Horatio, Arkansas onJune 23, 1937.  He served in the military with the U S Army, and was a member of the Horatio Assembly of God Church, and made his living as a car detailer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Floyd Staggs.

He is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ralph and Juanita Staggs of Horatio, Donald and Laura Staggs of Miami, Oklahoma, a sister and brother-in-law, Evelyne & James Archer of Healdton, Oklahoma, and a number of nieces and nephews.,

Funeral Services for Mr. Ernest Staggs will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, January 15, 2018 in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro.
