Mrs. Edna Boyles
Mrs. Edna Fay Jordan Boyles, age 75, resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed from this life on Monday, December 4, 2023, at the Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.

Edna Fay was born the sixth of twelve children to the union of Lawrence Jordan, Sr. and Pauline Nelson Jordan, on October 26, 1948, in De Queen, Arkansas. On June 10, 1972, Edna married the love of her life, John Fredrick "Bo" Boyles, Jr., in De Queen. Together they shared more than thirty loving years until his passing in 2002. Edna attended nursing school in Indiana, later receiving her Licensed Practical Nursing license. Edna later worked for the De Queen School District in Food Services. She was a member of New Zion Baptist Church in De Queen and enjoyed watching TV and cooking. Edna Fay best spent her time with her loving children, grandchildren, family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, John "Bo" Boyles, Jr.; two brothers, Terry Jordan and Roger Jordan; and three sisters, Helen Knox, Martha Jordan, and Nola Preston.

Edna leaves to cherish her memory, her son, CSM Christopher Boyles, United States Army stationed in Japan; her daughter, Nadea Bowerman of Texarkana, Texas; three grandchildren, Sariah McBride of Killeen, Texas, D'Nae Williams of Texarkana, Texas, and Preston Crawford of Texarkana, Texas; four brothers, Ivory Greathouse of De Queen, John Jordan of Horatio, Jimmy Jordan of Germany, and Marvin  Jordan of De Queen; two sisters, Ethel Jordan of De Queen and Ann Jordan of Muncie, Indiana; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Edna Fay Boyles will be held at 12:00 P.M., Saturday, December 9, 2023, at New Zion Baptist Church in De Queen, with Rev. Carl Henderson, Eulogist, officiating. Interment will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery in De Queen. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., Saturday, at the church.
