Eddy Dean Brewer, 77, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2026, in Graham, Texas. Born on May 14, 1949, in De Queen, Arkansas, Eddy lived a life defined by dedication, resilience, and a deep appreciation for family and the world around him.

Eddy proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1969 to 1975, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant while stationed at Laughlin Air Force Base. His military service reflected his unwavering commitment to hard work and loyalty—qualities that became hallmarks of his personal and professional life.

Following his honorable service, Eddy pursued a successful career. He worked for Pilgrim's Pride for 17 years before transitioning to a role as an engineer at Carter Burgess. His self-taught ingenuity and tireless work ethic earned him admiration and respect from colleagues and friends alike.

Eddy had a profound love for animals, especially horses, and found solace in the great outdoors. Whether caring for animals or enjoying nature’s beauty, he embraced life’s simple pleasures with a laid-back demeanor that endeared him to everyone he met. His sense of humor and kind spirit left a lasting impression on all who crossed his path.

Above all else, Eddy cherished his family. He was the proud father of Sunny Arnold (Zachary and Bryce) and Deana Sampson (Eric and Joe). Even as he faced the challenges of dementia in his later years, Eddy’s love for his daughters remained steadfast; his face would light up at the mere mention of their names.

Eddy is also survived by his brother Honval Jr. (Sue Brewer), sisters Penny (Jerry Ward) and Patty Brewer, as well as numerous extended family members who will forever hold him close in their hearts. He was predeceased by his parents Honval and Yvonne Brewer; brothers John Brewer and Bill Brewer; and sisters Mary Rovell and Betty Brewer.

Eddy’s legacy is one of kindness, loyalty, humor, and perseverance—a life well-lived that will continue to inspire those who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.

A visitation will be held on June 26, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Chandler Funeral Home, located at 1015 W Collin Raye Drive in De Queen, Arkansas. A graveside service will follow on June 27, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Valley Cemetery on Bellah Mine Road in Gillham, Arkansas, with Bro.
