Mr. Doug DeShazo
Mr. Douglas Leon DeShazo, age 71, resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023, in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Doug, as he was known to family and friends, was born to Elmer and Edna Verna Gray DeShazo on July 24, 1951, in De Queen. He was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School. Doug worked in different capacities over the years, including time with Exxon, in construction, and most recently as the door greeter at Walmart in De Queen. He was of the Methodist faith and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Edna DeShazo.

Doug is survived by a special friend, Donna Vincent of Bald Knob, Arkansas; his cousins, Dan Longacre of Lufkin, Texas, Joe Longacre of De Queen, Kathy Worley of De Queen, M.J. Cearley of Nashville, Sue Stinnett of Malvern, and Bill Gray of West Fork, Arkansas; as well as other relatives, and a host of friends.
