Mrs. Dorothy "Dottie" Miller

Mrs. Dorothy Eileen Harter Miller, age 86, a resident of Wickes and former resident of De Queen, passed from this life on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 in Wickes.

She was born to Wilbur Asa and Arvilla Louise McCall Harter on May 18, 1933 in Washington, Iowa. She married the love of her life, John William Miller, on April 12, 1953 in Centerville, Iowa. She was a member of the Smyrna Church of Christ and was a homemaker. Dottie enjoyed crossword puzzles, puzzles, sewing, knitting and crocheting, but most of all, she cherished the time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of over 55 years, John W. Miller; and two sisters, Nancy Harter and Virginia Kane.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Terry Miller and his wife Lisa of Lone Grove, Oklahoma; three daughters, Sherry Evans of Kingman, Arizona, Cindy Bivins of Deirks and Tracy Morris and her husband Robin of Wickes; ten grandchildren, Andrea, Luke, Debbie, Becky, Jennifer, Amanda, Tiffany, Ashley, Eric and Travis; nineteen great-granchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; as well as, other relatives and a host of friends.

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Miller will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 7, 2019 in the Smyrna Cemetery, De Queen, with Charles Foster Krudwig officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday, September 6 ^th , at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen.
