Ms. Dorothy Ann Fields Legates, age 81, resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed from this life on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 in Nashville, Arkansas.

She was born to Elic and Lizzie Mae Barker Fields on March 3, 1939, in Shreveport, Louisiana. She enjoyed her time spent with her many friends and staff of the Sevier County Developmental Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Jimmy Ray Legates; one brother, John Henry Fields; and one sister, Jodie Fields Loyd.

She is survived by her friends and staff of the Sevier County Developmental Center.

Funeral Services for Ms. Dorothy Legates will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 23, 2021 in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be held at Forest Park Cemetery, Shreveport, Louisiana, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen.
