Mr. Don Ray Richardson, age 77, a lifelong resident of Grannis, Arkansas, passed from this life on Thursday, June 5, 2025, in the Arkansas Heart Hospital, Little Rock, Arkansas.

He was born to Lonnie Casto and Bertha Martin Richardson on July 10, 1947. He married Elizabeth Ann Watkins in Wickes, Arkansas on October 7, 1966, and they spent over 58 wonderful years together. To this marriage, a daughter and two sons were born.  Don was a rancher and chicken grower for 35 years in addition to working for Weyerhaeuser for over 25 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, L. C. Richardson.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Richardson of Grannis; one daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Jorge Rivas of De Queen; two sons and daughters-in-law, Carlton and Shelly Richardson of Grannis; and John and Gina Richardson of Grannis; nine grandchildren, Alicia Gonzalez, Sabrina and her husband, Hunter McCollum, Veronica and her husband Bailey Branson, Monica Rivas, Kara and her husband, Gus Sharp, Kolt Richardson and his wife, Sage, Alexanderia and her husband, Seth Minor, Ethan Richardson, and Jase Richardson, two great-grandchildren, Barry Richardson and Leigha Gonzalez; a brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Lorreta Richardson of Grannis, Arkansas; nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of friends.

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Don Ray Richardson will be at 2:00 P.M., Monday, June 9, 2025, in the Baker Cemetery, Grannis, Arkansas, with Bro. Donnie Jewell officiating, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen, Arkansas 71832.
