Mr. Dionicio Lopez
Mr. Dionicio Lopez Alcocer, age 60, resident of De Queen, passed from this life on Friday, January 24, 2020 at the CHI St. Vincent Hospital in Hot Springs.
He was born to Isauro Lopez and Delfina Alcocer on December 26, 1959 in Mexico. He worked on the family's ranch in Mexico and later worked for Pilgrim's Pride in De Queen having 40 years service. He married Jakeline Espinoza Gutierrez, whom he loved dearly, on November 27, 2017 in De Queen. He was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church in De Queen and enjoyed hunting and spending time outdoors, but most of all, he cherished the time spent with his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father; three brothers, Balberto, Estaban and Juan Lopez; sisters, Victoria Lopez and two infant sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Jakeline Espinoza Gutierrez of De Queen; one son, Richard Lopez of De Queen; one daughter, Norma Lopez Rodriguez of Mexico; nine grandchildren; his mother, Delfina Vidal Lopez Alcocer of De Queen; three brothers and spouses, Francisco and Senoria Lopez, Vincente Lopez and Eladio and Lisa Lopez; four sisters, Baulbina, Eusebia, Alberta and Ambrosia Lopez; as well as, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral Mass for Mr. Dionicio Lopez will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at the St. Barbara Catholic Church, De Queen, with Father Ramses Mendieta officiating. Burial will follow in the Redmen Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. Public viewing and Rosary will be from Noon, Tuesday, January 28 th , until service time Wednesday, at the church. You may send an online sympathy message at www.chandlerfuneral.com.
