Mrs. Diane L. Jones Pharr, age 71, a resident of Grannis, Arkansas, went peacefully to her eternal home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Diane was born to Ed and Verbie Storey Jones on September 24, 1953, in De Queen, Arkansas. She married Gerald D Pharr May 26, 1973, in Grannis, Arkansas, and to this marriage, one son was born.  She worked in many capacities, but most of all, she took care of her family and loved her grandbabies.  She was an active member of the Wickes Church of the Nazarene, where she taught Sunday School, and was their pianist.  Diane was also a member of Cossatot Arts and Crafts.  She enjoyed art, painting, playing the piano, and traveling.

Diane was preceded by her parents, three brothers, Charles Jones, Clyde Jones, and Kenneth Jones, a sister, Juanita Jones, and a nephew, Eric Jones.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved husband of 52 years, Gerald Pharr, a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Tamara Pharr of Grannis, five grandchildren, Rachel, Eli, Benjamin, Leola, and Rosalind, three great-grandchildren, Oaklon, Annie, and Bodie, a number of nieces, nephews, other family members as well as her church family.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Diane Pharr will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the Wickes Church of the Nazarene with Rev. B. J. Jenkins officiating.  Burial will follow in the Baker Cemetery, Grannis, Arkansas, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home.  Visitation will be on Friday, September 5, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen, Arkansas.  You may send an online condolence at www.chandlerfuneral.com or you may visit the Chandler Funeral Home Facebook page.
