Mr. Dennis Edward Sunderman, age 74, a resident of Nashville, Arkansas, passed from this life on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born to Leroy Edward and Willie Lee Smith Sunderman, on February 15, 1950.  He graduated from De Queen High School and went to Henderson University, where he received his BA degree.  He was self-employed by trade, but his love was music.  Dennis was a member of First Christian Church in De Queen. Dennis had no children of his own but loved and adored all of his nieces and nephews with his whole heart. The joy he got spending time with them was evident to all those around him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Sunderman, and a sister, Susan Sunderman Smith.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Willie Lee Sunderman of Nashville, Arkansas; one brother, Curtis Sunderman of McCaskill, Arkansas, one sister and brother-in-law, Dianne and Tommy Barger of Nashville, Arkansas; Special Uncles (Bonus Brothers) Leo (Beverly) Harrison of Fayetteville, and Kent (Kerry) Harrison of Little Rock, Arkansas; nieces and nephews, Michelle Barger Boone and her husband, Patrick, Brandon Barger and his wife, Tiffany, Sara Sunderman McCarter and her husband, Wade,Aaron Sunderman and his wife, Kristina, Lydia Sunderman, Dillon Smith and his wife, Shelbi, and Macy Smith, as well as other family members and close friends.

Funeral Services for Mr. Dennis Sunderman will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 2, 2024, in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bob Fant officiating. Burial will follow in Redmen Cemetery, De Queen, Arkansas.  Visitation will be on Sunday, December 1, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
