Mrs. Delfina Alcocer Vidal
Mrs. Delfina Alcocer Vidal, age 96, resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023, at home with family by her side.

Delfina was born on December 24, 1926, in Mexico to Benjamin Alcocer and Domitilda Vidal, one of three children. Delfina married the love of her life, Isauro Lopez, in 1944. She was a homemaker and member of St. Barbara Catholic Church in De Queen. She enjoyed cooking and caring for her family. More than anything, Delfina cherished the time spent with her children and many grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Isauro Lopez; children, Balberto Lopez, Esteban Lopez, Victorina Lopez, Juan Lopez, Dionicio Lopez, and two infant daughters; one brother, Costancio Alcocer; and one sister, Luisa Alcocer.

Delfina leaves to cherish her memory, three sons, Francisco Lopez of De Queen, Vicente Lopez of De Queen, and Eladio Lopez of Nashville; four daughters, Balbina Lopez of De Queen, Eusebia Lopez of De Queen, Alberta Lopez of De Queen, and Ambrosia Lopez Alvarado of Springdale; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Mass for Mrs. Delfina Alcocer Vidal will be held at 12:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 25, 2023, in the Msgr. Scott Friend Pastoral Center at St. Barbara Catholic Church in De Queen. Father Ramses Mendietta will officiate. Interment will follow at Redmen Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M., to 5:00 P.M., Monday; 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M., with reciting of Rosary to begin at 7:00 P.M., Tuesday; and 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
