Mr. David Lee Brewer, age 59, a resident of Shreveport, Louisiana, died Monday at his home.

He was born to Johnny Lee and Nancy Jane Hall Brewer in Shreveport, Louisiana on September 9, 1964, and was a graduate of North Wood High School in Shreveport.  He was an auto mechanic in Shreveport and enjoyed hunting, fishing, target practice, and was especially fond of his dogs, Diablo and Kerri.

He was preceded by his parents, and a sister-in-law, Jackie Brewer.

He leaves to cherish his memory, a brother, Kevin W. Brewer of Hartsville, Tenn., two nephews,

James H. Brewer (Jessi) of Hartsville, Tenn., and Daniel Patrick Brewer (Lora) of Shreveport, LA;

Three great-nieces: Brooklyn Brewer, Iris Brewer, and Sage Brewer all of Hartsville, Tenn.; Two great-nephews, Brandon Brewer and Brody Brewer both of Hartsville, Tenn; two uncles, Eddy Brewer of De Queen; Honval Riley Brewer, Jr. and his wife, Karen of Mineral Springs, Arkansas three aunts; Penny Ward and her husband, Jerry of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; Betty Brewer and Patty Brewer both of De Queen, as well as other family members and friends.

Graveside funeral Services for Mr. David Lee Brewer will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 15, 2023, in the Valley Cemetery, Gillham, Arkansas.
