Mr. Darrell Chandler Mr. James Darrell Chandler, age 66, a resident of Horatio, Arkansas, died Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at his home. He was born to James B and Thelma Lawley Chandler in Sentinel, Oklahoma, on January 6, 1950. He worked for Weyerhaeuser for a total of 44 years, both at the Treating Plant, and on the D.&E.T.O.&E railroad. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in De Queen, Where he served as a deacon, and usher. He enjoyed working cows, fishing, hunting, but most of all, he cherished the time spent with family, especially his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Mother. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Kay Cranford Chandler of Horatio, two sons, Mike and Sharon Chandler and Curtis and Tosha Chandler all of Horatio, his father and step-mother, James B. and Ann Chandler of De Queen, three grandchildren MaKenzie Chandler, Orey Chandler and Logan Chandler all of Horatio, one brother and sister-in-law, Ronny and Beverly Chandler of Little River Club, Arkansas, a sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Sam Young of De Queen, Arkansas, and a number of nieces and nephews, as well as other family members. Funeral Services for Mr. Darrell Chandler will be held at 10:00 A.M.,on Saturday, December 24, 2016 in the First Assembly God Church, De Queen, with Bro. Kent Irvan and Pastor Ray Reynolds officiating. Burial with follow in the Old Center Cemetery, Horatio, with Doug Akin officiating, under direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen.
