Mrs. Cris Ramsey

Mrs. Cris Mayola Ramsey, age 66, resident of Mineral Springs, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

She was born to Charles Dillihunt and Necie Wright on July 27, 1953 in Lockesburg, Arkansas. She worked for Tyson Foods and was a member of the Bright Star Baptist Church in Schaal. She enjoyed the Casino, going to church and baking, but most of all, she cherished the time spent with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, whom she has loved for over 48 years, Charles Ramsey of Mineral Springs; two sons, Cory Wright of Grady, Arkansas and Casey Ramsey of Mineral Springs; one daughter, Catrina Slater and her husband Deshun of Bryant, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Corderrell Wright, Casalyn Ramsey and Desmond Slater; three sisters, Mary Turner and her husband Ellison, Ernestine Green and husband Jessie and Christine Tarr and her husband Lavon; nieces and nephew, Allison and her husband Michael, Rachel, Richard and his wife Anna, Ariel and Kristi and her husband Delanza; one aunt, Fannie Lee Richardson of Lockesburg; brothers-in-law, Larry Ramsey and his wife Patricia and Chester Cash and his wife May; sisters-in-law, Addy Ramsey, Margaret Ann Reed, Eva Jo Osby, Dorothy Dixon and her husband Lawrence and Ruby Taylor and her husband Bernie; as well as, other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Cris Ramsey will be held at 11:00 A.M., October 5, 2019 in the Bright Star Baptist Church in Schaal with Rev. Elroy Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in the Sand Field Cemetery in Lockesburg, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen.
