Mr. Coy Eugene Singleton, age 69, a resident of Lockesburg, died Monday, December 30, 2024, in the CHI St. Vincent Hospital, Hot Springs, Arkansas, surrounded by his family.

He was born to James and Ida Hartley Singleton on December 3, 1955 in Jacksonville, Florida. He worked in the construction industry for most of his career.  He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.  But his best spent time was with his loving wife of over 50 years, their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Leroy Singleton, Fredrick Singleton, and Charles Singleton, and a sister, Deloris Vasquez.

Coy leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Linda Marie George Singleton of Lockesburg, Arkansas; two daughters, Tonya Singleton of Lockesburg, Arkansas, Tara and her husband, Jeff Icenhower of Lockesburg, Arkansas; four sons, Gene Singleton and his wife, Michelle of St. Augustine, Florida, Isaac Singleton and his wife, Kelly of St. Augustine, Florida, Joe Singleton of Lockesburg, Arkansas, and Christopher Singleton of Lockesburg, Arkansas; grandchildren, Caitlin and Garrison Wallace, Alyssa Ackerman, Brenden Singleton, Levi Singleton, Leah Singleton, Rip Icenhower, Whitney and Dextin Wheeler, Tori and Chase Mitchell; his great-grandchildren, Jaxon and Charlie Scitticatt, Kennedy Wallace, Maya Rosado, Dawson Wallace, Hadley Mitchell, Lucas Mitchell, Myles Mitchell, and Lynnon Wheeler;His brothers, Curtis Singleton, and Allen Singleton; his sisters, Mary Masters, Rosalee Richardson, and Yvonne Garrett, and a number of nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of friends.
