Mrs. Colleen Dinger
Mrs. Colleen Maye Cole Dinger, age 74, resident of Mount Ida, Arkansas and former resident of De Queen, passed from this life on Monday, September 23, 2019 in Mount Ida.
Colleen was born to Russell Ray and Bernice Jane Jackson Cole on January 4, 1945 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She married the love of her life, Lawrence Lee Dinger, on June 30, 1961 in Bartlesville. She was a longtime member of the Solid Rock Full Gospel Church and was a homemaker. She was a devout Christian. She was a Sunday School teacher at the Chapel Hill Baptist Church and was a member of the Solid Rock Full Gospel Choir. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, serving the Lord and playing practical jokes. To know Colleen was to love her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of over 39 years, Lawrence Dinger; one sister, Margret Keller; and a nephew, Rusty Topping.
She leaves to cherish her memory, three sons, Donnie Lee Dinger of Mount Ida, Larry Alan Dinger of Alleene, and Eugene Wayne Dinger and his wife Lori of Mount Ida; ten grandchildren, Brandon Dinger and his wife Shalamar, Sabrina Dinger, Kendra Stevens and her husband Freddie, Hunter Dinger, Tanner Dinger, Triston Mays, John Beck, Brad Harrison, Leslie Harrison and Tietjan Skidmore; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; as well as, nieces, nephews, other relatives a host of friends.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Colleen Dinger will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 28, 2019 in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Brent Furr officiating. Burial will follow in the Sweet Home Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. The family will receive friends from Noon until service time, Saturday, at the funeral home.
