Obituary

Mr. Clay Alan Witherspoon, age 45, a resident of Hatfield, Arkansas, died Saturday, November 9, 2019 in CHI St Vincent Hospital in Hot Springs.

He was born on September 19, 1974 in Vallejo, California.  He worked in the electrical field, construction and computers.  Clay enjoyed hunting, fishing, making bracelets, and paracords.  Most of all, Clay cherished the time spent with his family and friends.

Clay is survived by three children, Trenton Roy Witherspoon, and Sarinda Leigh Witherspoon, both of Cove, Arkansas, and Dacoda Ryan Alexander Witherspoon Trent of Durant, Oklahoma, his mother, Brenda Jones of Hatfield, Arkansas, his father and step-mother, Jack and Kathy Witherspoon of Washington, Utah, two sisters, Yvonne Gale and her husband, Michael Gants of East Ridge, Tennessee, Kristel Lea and her husband, Jody Williams of De Queen; three nephews, three nieces, and three great-nephews, as well as other family members and a host of friends.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., December 7, 2019 at the First Baptist Church, De Queen, with Rev. Jack "Scooter" Hicks officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. You may send an online sympathy message at www.chandlerfuneral.com.
