Mr. Clay Edward Ludlow, age 32, a resident of Smithville, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2026, in Hope, Arkansas.
He was born to Eddie Gene Ludlow and Phyllis Maxine Phillips on May 17, 1994, in Talihina, Oklahoma. He was a self-employed handyman. Clay enjoyed hunting, fishing, listening to rap music, and being with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Beverly Phillips and Lem Ludlow.
Clay leaves to cherish his memory, his mother and step-father, Phyllis Phillips and Chris Chandler of Gillham, Arkansas; his father and step-mother, Eddie Ludlow and Tina Ludlow of Smithville, Oklahoma; his grandmother, Evelyn Ludlow of Smithville, Oklahoma; one brother, Cody Smith of North Dakota; his aunt, Patsy Phillips of Gillham, Arkansas; his uncle and aunt, Chad and Charla Belknap and uncle, Joe Ludlow all of Smithville, Oklahoma; cousins, Sharee, Hayley, Vanessa and Brook; along with other family and friends.
Memorial services for Clay Ludlow will be held, 11:00 A.M., Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Smithville Assembly of God Church with Pastor Jerry Ford officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Smithville Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen, Arkansas.
