Mrs. Claudette Taylor
Mrs. Jeanne Claudette Dorsey Taylor, age 71, of De Queen, Arkansas, passed from this life on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Claudette was born one of eight children to the union of Claude Thomas and Babe Ruth Chandler Dorsey on Tuesday, February 21, 1950, in Sentinel, Oklahoma. In 1968, Claudette married the love of her life, Robert Taylor, in De Queen. She was a Homemaker and member of 4C Cowboy Church in De Queen. She enjoyed reading, working with computers, painting, drawing, and canning with her daughters. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her loving grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Ruth Dorsey; her loving husband, Robert Taylor, in 1984; her daughter, April Michelle Taylor; and sister, Diane Holden.

Claudette leaves to cherish her loving memory, three daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Brent Marshall of Provo, Julie and Randy McCully of De Queen, and Robin and Edward Bell of Rose Bud. She was "Granny" to her twenty-five grandchildren, and her twenty-nine great-grandchildren. She was also survived by three brothers and their spouse, Richard Dorsey of De Queen, Billy and Donna Dorsey of Haworth, and Mark and Robin Dorsey of De Queen; three sisters and their spouses, Lana Jo and Larry Vickers of De Queen, Tommi and Rob Smith of De Queen, and Danita Dorsey of Ashdown; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Claudette Taylor will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 14, 2021, in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jack Pearce officiating. Burial will follow at Redmen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday, at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen.
