Mr. Cirilo Hernandez Trujillo, age 62, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, died Tuesday, March 21, 2017 in Saint Frances Hospital in Tyler, Texas.
He was born to Martin Hernandez and Refugio Trujillo in San Felipe, Guanajuato, Mexico on June 5, 1954. He worked in sanitation at Pilgrim's for 19 years, and was a member of St. Barbara's Catholic Church. He was a loving father who always put his family first no matter how hard the situation might have gotten. A strong man who always found a way to make ends meet, never once did you give up. He always loved being with family and friends. A man filled with life whom everybody knew as a cheerful person, always smiling, laughing and making jokes. Strong healing hands that always knew how to fix anything. Always building and creating a better way to accommodate our big family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and four siblings, Elias Hernandez, Sebastian Hernandez, Ramon Hernandez, and Senayda Hernandez.
He is survived by his wife of more than 25 years, Maria Hernandez, of De Queen, three sons and
a daughter-in-law, Josh Elizondo and Edith Zaragoza, David Hernandez, and Alejandro "Alex"
Hernandez all of De Queen, five daughters and sons-in-law, Veronica Ceballos and Cristian,
Norma and Alfonso Gutierrez, Patricia Hernandez, Yessica Hernandez, and Angelica Hernandez all of De Queen, two brothers, Benjamin Hernandez of Reynosa, Mexico, and Jose Hernandez of Springdale, Arkansas, one sister, Abrami Hernandez of Reynosa, Mexico, five grandchildren,
Jairdan G. Elizondo, Isabella Ceballos, Nathan Ceballos, Aaron Gutierrez and Leila Gutierrez all of De Queen.
Visitation and a Rosary will be Thursday, March 23, 2017, beginning at 3:00 P.M., at St. Barbara's Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M., March 24, 2017 at St. Barbara's Catholic Church, Visitation will be from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Chandler Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services will be Saturday, March 25, 2017, at 10:00 A.M., in Redmen Cemetery, De Queen, Under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen.
