Mr. Charles Benny Deaton, known to family and friends as "Benny" age 76, a resident of Newhope, Arkansas, passed from this life Wednesday, March 20, 2024, in Dierks, Arkansas surrounded by his family.

He was born to Charles Warren and Mary Lucienda Hammock Deaton on November 20, 1947, in Orange, Texas.   Benny married the love of his life, Pamela Ruth Whisenhunt at Newhope, Arkansas, on December 23, 1979.  To this union two children were born.  He was a retired pipeline fitter, and was a poultry grower for Pilgrims.  He was a Baptist and enjoyed fox hounds, hunting, fishing, and his best time was spent with his family and fur babies.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Pamela Deaton, and a sister, Melvia Harris.

He leaves to cherish his memory; a son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Jennifer Deaton of Newhope, Arkansas, a daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Heath Bennett of Haskell, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Brian Stuard, Jaylen Stuard, Mazie Bennett, and Bo Bennett, as well as other family members and a host of friends.
