Calvin Pearl Hobbs, age 66, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas passed from this life on Monday, March 31, 2025, at Christus St. Michael Hospital, Texarkana, Texas.

He was born to Arlie Cordell and Marie Omega Tucker Hobbs in De Queen, Arkansas on November 22, 1958.  He graduated from De Queen High School and went on to become a logger.  He married the love of his life Janice Denise Tullous Hobbs on May 31, 2001.  Calvin always enjoyed helping others giving the shirt off his own back if that's what was needed.  He loved gardening, fishing, hunting, scrap metaling, just an all-around outdoor guy but most of all spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Calvin is survived by his wife Janice Denise Hobbs, a daughter, Alayna Hobbs and a son Mason Hobbs, all of De Queen, Arkansas; two sisters; Mary Beatrice Hobbs Kettle (John) of San Antonio, Texas; Mattie Tummie Hobbs Lovato (Dean) of Alamosa, Colorado; two brothers,  Otho Franklin and wife Mary A. Hobbs of Granby, Colorado and William Cordell Hobbs of De Queen, Arkansas;  a sister and brother-in-law,  Linda and Jeremy Lawrence of Horatio, Arkansas as well as a number of nieces, nephews and other family members as well as a host of friends.

Funeral services for Calvin P. Hobbs will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, April 5, 2025, in the Grace Baptist Church, De Queen, Arkansas, with Bro.
