Mr. Billy Eugene Higgins, age 67, a resident of Gillham, Arkansas, died Sunday, April 8, 2018 in Mena, Arkansas.
He was born to David Gordon and Illa Christine Snyder Higgins in De Queen, Arkansas, on
June 25, 1950. He was a heavy equipment operator, having worked for the City of De Queen, and the Highway Department. He was a member of the 4C Cowboy Church and the Silver Hill Masonic Lodge. Billy enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working with his hands in carpentry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, Russell Higgins, Bobby Higgins, Freeman Higgins, Ester Jean Smith, and Gladys Tabor, and his son-in-law, Chad Rains.
He is survived by his wife, Sandee K. Higgins of Gillham, one son and daughter-in-law,
William Bryan and Patricia Higgins of Springdale, Arkansas, two daughters and a son-in-law,
Kelly Warren and Vance Bradler of Mount Ida, Arkansas, and Joey Rains of New Boston, Texas, two step-daughters and their husbands, Tracy and Roger Lemon of Kremmling, Colorado, and Windy and Steve Arkon of Horatio, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Calvin and Patsy Hearn, Jimmy and Linda Higgins all of De Queen, one sister, Belva Nipper of Lockesburg, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
