Mr. Billy Cobb

Mr. Billy Bob Cobb, age 78, resident of Ashdown and former resident of Foreman, passed from this life on Saturday, March 7, 2020 in Ashdown.

He was born to Daniel Dee and Faye Louise Little Cobb on July 1, 1941 in Ashdown. He was a member of the United States Army and worked as a heavy equipment operator for Red River Army Depot for 26 years. He married the love of his life, Nona Marie Richardson, on January 9, 1970 in Foreman. He was a Methodist and former member of Wade's Chapel Methodist Church. He enjoyed gardening, making animal calls, piddling in his shop, bartering, and his animals, but most of all, he cherished the time spent with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of over 37 years, Nona Marie Cobb; and three brothers, James Roland Cobb, Daniel Calvin Cobb and Donald R. Cobb.

He is survived by one sister, Patsy "Pat" Waren and husband Jimmy of Springdale; one brother, David Allen Cobb and wife Laura of Ashdown; one sister-in-law, Betty Jean Abercrombie and husband Ronnie of Foreman; as well as, 11 nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Mr. Billy Cobb will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Marvin Cemetery in the Wallace Community of Little River County, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen.
