Ms. Beverly St. John
Ms. Beverly Colleen St. John, age 65, resident of Benton, Arkansas, passed peacefully from this life on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Beverly was born one of four daughters to the union of Kenneth Neal and Wanda Joan Jacobs St. John on September 16, 1958, in De Queen, Arkansas. Beverly was a 1976 graduate of Dierks High School and went on to attend the University of Central Arkansas. It was at UCA that she received her bachelor's degree in special education. Following her completion of college, Beverly went to work for the United States Postal Service, working a number of years as a letter carrier in El Dorado. During her professional career, Beverly worked in other capacities, including time with a construction company. Beverly was of the Baptist faith and a member of Ridge Crest Baptist Church in Benton. She enjoyed being active with the Saline County Senior Citizens, reading, singing, and listening to music. Most of all, Beverly cherished the time spent with her loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Joan Jacobs St. John; her stepmother, Marilyn St. John; her aunt, Tannie Lay, and an uncle, Marlin St. John.

Beverly leaves to cherish her memory, six sisters, Becky Jegstrup of Lockesburg, Belinda Cox and husband Tim of Nashville, Benita St. John of De Queen, Marie Brumley of Calion, Arkansas, Lorrie Stubbs and husband Danny of Horatio, and Melanie Brophy of De Queen; one aunt, Joyce St. John of Hot Springs; one uncle, Otis Lay of De Queen; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, her many friends at Saline County Senior Citizens, and her loving church family and Ridge Crest Baptist Church.

Funeral Services for Ms. Beverly St. John will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, January 22, 2024, in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Drew Cox officiating.
