Mrs. Betty Lutz
Mrs. Betty Marie Mangold Lutz, age 86, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas died Thursday, April 15, 2021 at her home.

Betty was born December 10, 1934 in De Queen, Arkansas to Earl and Marie Mangold. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas McKinley Lutz; her father, Earl Mangold; her mother, Marie Mangold; brothers, Floyd Walker and M.E. Walker; and her sister, Elizabeth Hoover.

She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory, her daughter, Melissa Marie Lutz, and her son, Mark Mangold Lutz, both of De Queen; one grandson, Garrett Lutz of Texas; and a number of nieces, and nephews. She also leaves her cherished brothers and sisters of the De Queen Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Betty faithfully served as one of Jehovah's Witnesses since her baptism in Texas in 1957. She loved and cherished her Christian ministry. She loved teaching others about the Bible and how God's Kingdom is the true solution to all mankind's problems.

Betty supported her husband in his foreign service career assignments around the world. She travelled extensively throughout Europe and Asia. She was a gourmet cook and led various international cooking groups overseas. She worked as a medical assistant for years. She was an accomplished artist and loved sharing her talent with others, especially young ones. She had an incredible love for animals and cherished each and every one.

Those closest to Betty describe her as the most loving and generous person ever. She is the greatest mother, wife, and friend a person could ever hope to have.
