Mrs. Betty Louise Armer Jegstrup, age 83, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed from this life on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.

Betty was one of five children born to George Thomas and Lela Allen Armer on May 20, 1941, in De Queen, Arkansas. She married William Floyd Jegstrup on October 7, 1961, and they spent 63 wonderful years together.  Betty worked for Poulan, and was a member of the Old Time Gospel Church.  She and Floyd enjoyed going to local gospel singings together.  She loved gardening and animals, but most of all, Betty loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, William Floyd Jegstrup; three brothers, Doyle Edward Armer, L. G. Armer, and James Armer; a sister, Rachel Armer, two brothers-in-law, Robert Jegstrup, Guy Jegstrup, and a sister-in-law, Betty Lou Jewell.

She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons and a daughter-in-law, Alan and Denise Jegstrup of De Queen, and Greg Jegstrup; a daughter, Judy Kay Dodd of Texas; two grandsons, Dylan Jegstrup and his wife, Pam; James Hill; three granddaughters, Kayla Jegstrup, Brittney Irons, and her husband, Colt; Kaitlyn Shelton; and Ashley Roberts; eleven great-grandchildren, other family members and a host of friends.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Betty Louise Jegstrup will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, April 18, 2025, in the Old Time Gospel Church, Lockesburg, Arkansas, with Bro.
