Barbara Ann Wyatt, age 51, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Sevier County Medical Center in De Queen.
She was born to Robert Dale Wyatt and Joyce Ann Cassady Wyatt in Fort Worth, Texas, on May 25, 1974. Barbara was a 1995 graduate of Hatfield High School and was a student at the Sevier County Developmental Center in De Queen. She was a member of the Nashville Seventh Day Adventist Church. She loved watching cartoons, and movies, especially SpongeBob; she enjoyed eating out at Mary Pop's and CiCi's Pizza; shopping especially at Wal-Mart, coloring in coloring books, and most of all being with her family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Dale Wyatt in 2002, her maternal grandparents, Anna Juanita and Wesley Cassady, her paternal grandparents, Leroy and Vera Wyatt.
Barbara leaves to cherish her memory, her mother and stepdad Joyce and Paul Briant of De Queen, Arkansas; two brothers, Terry Rath of Mena, Arkansas, Joshua Rath of Yuma, Arizona; two sisters, Christine Rath of Mena, Arkansas, Patricia and husband Ray Keaster of De Queen, Arkansas. Her aunts and uncles; Judy and Wayne Burt of De Queen, Arkansas; John and Ollie Cassady of Azle, Texas; Vicki Fettus of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Wesley Jr. and Melissa Cassady of Springdale, Arkansas; James Lee Cassady of Springdale, Arkansas; Rose and Todd Birdsong of De Queen, Arkansas; Stephen Cassady of Springdale, Arkansas; and a number of nieces, nephews, other family members, and a host of friends.
Funeral services for Barbara Ann Wyatt will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 30, 2025, in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Don Fortner, Jonathon Baylon, and Gary Manley officiating. Burial will follow at Beacon Hill Cemetery under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home in De Queen. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
