Mr. Arthur Humphrey
Mr. Arthur Junior Humphrey, age 75, of Lockesburg, Arkansas, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, in Ashdown, Arkansas.

Arthur was born the second of three children to Robert Lewis Humphrey and Martha Louise Maxwell on February 17, 1946. He was a 1964 graduate of Sevier County High School and later received a technical certificate in brick masonry. Arthur faithfully served his country with the United States Army. He worked in the timber industry for many years and later in the salvage industry. Arthur enjoyed working, gardening, his cats, and spending time with his loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Robert Lee Humphrey, Jarvis Dedner, and Rodney Bernard Dedner; and two sisters, Rose Cornelius, and Nancy Harris.

Arthur leaves to cherish his loving memory, one son and daughter-in-law, Nathan and Laura Humphrey of Atlanta, Texas; one daughter, Odelia Carol Humphrey of Salt Lake City, Utah; one brother, James Earl Humphrey of Amarillo, Texas; five sisters, Martha Kaye Dedner of Camden, Arkansas, Janet Jones and husband Edward of Delight, Arkansas, Neever Martinez of De Queen, Wanda Dedner of Rockwall, Texas, and Miriam Dedner of Mesquite, Texas; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral Services for Mr. Arthur Humphrey will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, September 12, 2021, in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Sonny Parson officiating. Burial, with military honors, will follow at Williamson Cemetery in Lockesburg. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M., Noon, until service time Sunday, at the funeral home.
